The MIGEDC believes in capacity-building as an effective and sustainable approach to institutional strengthening for good urban governance. Using funds provided by work partners, the MIGEDC optimize innovative approaches in skills development and enhancement that include sending MIGEDC executives, legislators, planners and NGO/PO work partners to special good governance trainings, seminars, conferences, and study tours.
Institutional strengthening through enhancement of work competencies and values also include staff exposure to literature and studies on best practice models and case studies. Augmented funds, work equipment and tools and other supplies and materials that are contributed by each member LGUs further reinforce it.
